Bookmarks For A Cause

Our homeschool program has a major change this school year. We are now homeschooling our children along with another homeschooling family. So they meet everyday, all four children plus another boy whose family is still trying out to see how homeschooling works for them. So daily lessons have never been  more interesting and fun.

For this week's Practical Arts (PA), the other mom (Supermom) taught us how to make bookmarks. Well, not just bookmarks but the ones we can sell to help fund our charity project. So we also learned a bit of merchandising and quality control this week. Here are some photos I (Wondermom) took during our bookmark-making session.

The kids creativity is limitless! And to think that they're doing this to help underprivileged children get education support is just inspiring.

We're just glad that we have all these beautiful materials available creatively assembled by the kids and moms and then laminated to last for years!

We've made more than a hundred of cards already and we're making more.
So this week we learned not just how to make a bookmark but also how to be productive and how to share our blessings to others.

If you're interested to know more about our bookmark fundraising project please leave a comment and we'll be happy to get in touch with you.

  1. This sounds great Wondermom! It reminds me of a project I read about at Keepers of the Faith dot org. Have a good day.

Your comment is very much appreciated. But please know that my young homeschoolers will be reading this also. Thank you.
Looking forward to visit you.
